Chapter 6: Thermal Agents: Cold and Heat
This chapter discusses the basic physical principles and physiological effects of transferring heat to or from patients using thermal agents. The clinical applications of cold and superficial heating agents are addressed.  The chapter incorporates numerous photos, a glossary of terms and a chapter review to assist with learning.
