Optional Refresher Lab

Learn budget conscious splinting--with cost effective splinting solutions for a wide variety of static, static-progressive and dynamic upper extremity splints... from finger splints to elbow splints, in this comprehensive 2 day course.

This lab intensive course will help to improve splinting efficiency and take the fear factor out of splinting. Learn principles of mobilization and immobilization splinting for upper extremity rehabilitation.

Learn to master the mechanics of splint fabrication with special techniques, low cost options, and helpful hints that let you create cost conscious upper extremity splints—quickly and easily.  Therapists will learn to problem-solve splint design issues, enhance splinting skills to fabricate professional looking, comfortable splints to meet patient needs, and gain confidence in upper extremity assessment as relevant to splint making.

View information about "The Basics of Hand Splinting" - an optional 3 hour pre-course refresher course for the less experienced splint maker who would like to brush up on splinting techniques and material handling skills before beginning this intensive weekend splinting course.
