Learn IASTM techniques to treat soft tissue pathology that plays a primary role in limiting mobility, often resulting in profound loss of function for those with injuries.
This basic one-day course provides an introduction to IASTM treatment techniques for a variety of pathologies including neural muscular restrictions, fascia restrictions, joint stiffness, scar adhesions, and pain-limited loss of movement. This course is for practitioners with no prior exposure to IASTM.
This two day course was developed to provide the clinician with a solid working knowledge of IASTM principles, techniques, precautions and contraindications for use, along with extensive hands-on instruction in the proper use of the tools for assessment and treatment of a broad range of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular injuries and dysfunction. Participation in this case-study based course, with technique labs and problem solving labs will allow the clinician to return to the clinic ready to integrate concepts and techniques learned into a comprehensive treatment program to improve patient outcomes.
